E80  IRCA Approved ISO 14001:2004 EMS Auditor/Lead Auditor Course

DURATION: 5 days (40 hours including a 2 hour written examination)  DESCRIPTION:  The purpose of this training course is to provide knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of environmental management systems (EMS) against ISO 14001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021, as applicable.  Capitalizing on the powerful Accelerated Learning Technique, this course spends a good portion of time on discussions, exercises and case studies to help students to consolidate knowledge and acquire hands on experience that are instrumental in their capacity as an EMS auditor or as an EMS professional.  Students who passed the continuous assessment and the 2 hour closed book examination will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion.  Based on IRCA policy, this course satisfies the training requirement for certification as an IRCA registered EMS Lead Auditor/Auditor.    OBJECTIVES:  On completion, successful students will be able to: Knowledge  Describe the purpose of an EMS and explain the principles, processes and techniques used for the 
assessment and management of environmental aspects and impacts, including the significance of these for EMS auditors; 
 Explain the purpose, content and interrelationship of ISO 14001, the ISO 14000 series guidance standards, and the legislative framework relevant to an EMS; 
 Explain the auditor role to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011. Skills  Undertake the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 
19011 and by interpreting the requirements of ISO 14001.

DURATION: 5 days (40 hours including a 2 hour written examination)

DESCRIPTION:  The purpose of this training course is to provide knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS) against   OHSAS 18001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021, as applicable.  Capitalizing on the powerful Accelerated Learning Technique, this course spends a good portion of the time on discussions, exercises and case studies to help students to consolidate knowledge and acquire hands on experience that are instrumental in their capacity as an OHSMS auditor or an OHS professional.  Students who passed the continuous assessment and the 2 hour closed book examination will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion.
Based on IRCA policy, this course satisfies the training requirement for certification as an IRCA registered OHSMS Lead Auditor/Auditor.

 Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an OHSMS audit in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021 where appropriate); 

Skills
 Plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit of an OHSMS to establish conformity with OHSAS 18001 and in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021 where appropriate).

N80  IRCA Approved ISO 50001:2011 EnMS Auditor/Lead Auditor Course

DURATION: 5 days (40 hours including a 2 hour written examination) 

DESCRIPTION:  The purpose of this training course is to provide knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of energy management systems (EnMS) against ISO 50001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021, as applicable.

Capitalizing on the powerful Accelerated Learning Technique, this course spends a good portion of the time on discussions, exercises and case studies to help students to consolidate knowledge and acquire hands on experience that are instrumental in their capacity as an EnMS auditor or professional.

Students who passed the continuous assessment and the 2 hour closed book examination will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion.  Based on IRCA policy, this course satisfies the training requirement for certification as an IRCA registered EnMS Lead Auditor/Auditor.

OBJECTIVES:  

On completion, successful students will be able to: Knowledge: 

 Describe the purpose of an energy management system, of energy management systems standards, of management system audit and of third party certification.
 Explain the role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up energy management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021 where appropriate). 

Skills:
 Plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit of an EnMS to establish conformance (or otherwise) with ISO 50001 and in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021 where appropriate).

DESCRIPTION:  The purpose of this training course is to provide knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and third-party audits of quality management systems (QMS) against ISO 9001, in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO 17021, as applicable.  Capitalizing on the powerful Accelerated Learning Technique, this course spends a good portion of the time on discussions, exercises and case studies to help students to consolidate knowledge and acquire hands on experience that are instrumental in their capacity as a QMS auditor or as a quality function personnel.  Students who passed the continuous assessment and the 2 hour closed book examination will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion.  Based on IRCA policy, this course satisfies the training requirement for certification as an IRCA registered QMS Lead Auditor/Auditor.  

OBJECTIVES:  On completion, successful students will be able to:Knowledge
